Founded in 1959, the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors is the national professional body representing the quantity surveying and construction estimating profession in Canada. The CIQS is the governing body for six regional affiliated associations in Alberta, British Columbia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec.
