Ryan is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (PQS & MRICS) and Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB) with an MBA: Construction & Real Estate, Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying and fifteen years post graduate work experience. He is currently working as an Associate Director at Turner & Townsend in the Ottawa office. Ryan’s experience includes 10 years on mega programs. He has set-up programs for success with commercial strategies that align with the client’s investment decision making process and has managed teams to deliver the commercial aspects of the programs. He currently works on a parliamentary restoration major project in Ottawa.
Ryan is driven to achieve best value for money through targeted value engineering. His advice, focuses on long term outcomes rather than short term outputs which has helped clients achieve their commercial objectives. He enjoys working with clients through their challenges and provides a sound voice of reason when difficult decisions must be made by providing a holistic perspective through a digital first, programmatic approach.
His passion for the construction industry has seen him involved in several successful projects and programs previously in South Africa and Saudi Arabia. He now brings this experience to Canada.
