Value Engineering: How to Deliver Value?
Value Engineering/Analysis, as defined by SAVE International, is “a systematic process used by a multidisciplinary team to improve the value of a project through the analysis of its functions.” This presentation will discuss the concept of value engineering, explore its applications and highlight the benefits of this cutting edge methodology.
Value is a combination of function and life cycle costs. Both have risks and uncertainty, but can we mitigate those risks when conducting value engineering and compiling value engineering proposals? The presenter will explore the principles behind value engineering and the how to reduce uncertainty related to cost and risk.
